MOTD styling does not work for LAN servers (MineOS)

MOTD messages with styling in them work fine for a regular server connection but do not work for LAN server connections. See "Local Server External" vs the given LAN result:

Dedicated servers can be broadcasted to LAN via MineOS, which is how I do so in the screenshot for my dedicated server.

Try replacing the "\u00A7"s with section signs (§) in the LAN world.

@PlumParrot Changing the "\u00A7"s to '§' worked

However on server restart the MOTD is changed automatically and produces this:

And this is the new value of the MOTD

motd=\u00C2\u00A7kPoggers\u00C2\u00A7r – \u00C2\u00A7lOfficial \u00C2\u00A72E-Tards \u00C2\u00A7rMC Server – \u00C2\u00A7kPoggers\u00C2\u00A7r

To clarify, I got the result before this by starting the server with the regular escape character "\u00A7" then changing it while its running and saving.

If this issue is about § getting replaced when saving server.properties, I can't reproduce that
