[MC-255665] When switching versions, settings automatically reset.

I can't provide screenshots as it wont prove anything right or wrong, but this bug is easy to activate. Firstly, go into a different version (like 1.8.9) after altering your settings even slightly.
Then, join a server, log out, join 1.19.2, and the settings that you changed will be reset.

Downgrading is not supported. Old versions cannot interpret new versions' settings properly as things change.

This ticket is either invalid as per what was mentioned above or a duplicate of MC-96656 (which was resolved as "Invalid" as well).

I think this is abandoned versions becaese MOJANG needs fix this or realize version as Combat Test Oficial and compatible with 1.8.9 resource packs and mods
