I just logged in to a server that didn't load, so I fell infinitely.

Then I noticed the skybox had some subtle lines.

Very hard to notice.

I get why you've done this, Mojang.

Nobody in their right mind would make a skybox that's a PERFECT sphere.

Also, this affects every version with a skybox, but I couldn't just put that in the affects version/s field. so I decided to go with the latest version.

Please attach a screenshot.

I don't see anything wrong about your screenshot. If you see something wrong, just tell me.

They mean to say that the sky isn't actually a sphere and the border of black and blue shows the corner points of the skydome.

Reply to Dhranios: I still don't see anything unusual about the sky in the screenshot.

Does this issue still occur in 1.19.4?

You don’t give me enough information to find the cause of the issue.

If this issue still occur, please record a video then send it to here.

If you don’t know how to record a video, here is some link for you:

Windows: https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/screen-record-in-windows

Mac: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208721

Linux: https://beebom.com/how-record-screen-ubuntu

If the video was too large, you can post it somewhere (Google Drive, YouTube, etc.) then send the link to here.

Can confirm in 23w51b, though the issue is only obserable under a very niche circumstance. The player must be at y=-65 or lower (undernearth the lowest possible block valid for placement, y=-64), and be in a void world/generally have a lot of void above them. Otherwise, the bedrock floor blocks visibility to the sky entirely. In any other circumstance, the edges of the sky are hardly, if not at all possible to see:

Best way to reproduce this is to create a 'Void World' preset in creative, and then fly down to, or past level -66.
