The redstone ore cannot produce any redstone power, but I found it was in the "Redstone Blocks" group of creative inventory. If the redstone ore can produce redstone power in future version, I think the deepslate redstone ore should also add in this group.

Behaviorally-identical blocks/items are not added to that tab to prevent cluttering.
Although redstone ore doesn't produce any redstone power, the lit state change of it can be detected by observer. Redstone ore provide light when clicked, updated, or contacted by almost any entity. See the Minecraft Wiki Redstone Ore page for more information. The reason why deepslate redstone ore is not in the "Redstone Blocks" group is because of MC-257629.
Maybe the redstone signal produces when you interract with the ore, but it's very weak and cannot interract with redstone etc.
