Dying sniffers continue to dig

The Bug:

Dying sniffers continue to dig.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Summon a sniffer.

2. As soon as it begins sitting and digging, kill it by using the command provided below.

   /kill @e[type=minecraft:sniffer,limit=1,sort=nearest]

3. Watch closely as the sniffer dies.

4. Take note as to whether or not dying sniffers continue to dig.

Observed Behavior:

Dying sniffers continue to dig.

Expected Behavior:

Dying sniffers would not continue to dig.
