[MC-26038] Only ops can break blocks

On a server that I host, when I am de-opped, I can break blocks (I connect from localhost) but when my friends connect and are de-opped, they cannot break or interact with blocks.

Are you near the spawn? Only OPs, admins and the server owner may break blocks near the spawn for grief-prevention purposes. I believe there is a way to remove the prevention, but off the top of my head I don't know it.

This means you've set the spawn protection to a large number.

It's at its default number, this is a fresh server.

Attach your server.properties file. (Though my guess is that gamemode=2).
