[MC-262049] chat messages doesn't show up.

chat messages doesn't show up

What I expected to happen was...:
messages would show up

What actually happened was...:
no messages show up

Steps to Reproduce:
1. make sure chat is visible

2. do a slash command or send a massage

Cannot reproduce; chat works fine for me.

For commands, make sure the sendCommandFeedback game rule is set to true.

Could you add a screenshot/video for this issue?
