No sound when trying to break blocks in creative mode with a sword in the hand

When you try to break a block in creative mode and you have a sword in your hand the block will not breake (which makes sense). Instead your arm will move and you can see the typical "destroy particles" from the block you try to break.It's the same behaviour like when you try to break bedrock or commad blocks etc. in survival mode. The only difference: In creative mode you don't hear a sound.
