My skin keeps changing in-game to the default Sunny skin in a single-player world, and my skin loads but my friend didn't even though they are using one in a multiplayer world. This all happened after I downloaded optifine for the 1.20.1 release and JDK 17.0.7 and loaded a single-player world that I haven't played in a while. I tried selecting the Steve skin and yet again my skin changed to sunny upon entering a single-player world. I tried to uninstall optifine and JDK then I played on the non-moded 1.20.1 version but the bug still occurs
What I expected to happen was...:
Have the selected skin be used, be able to see other player skinsΒ
What actually happened was...:
My skin changed to default sunny while in-game, other player skins didn't load
Steps to Reproduce:
1. download optifine for the 1.20.1 release of java
2. download JDK 17.0.7 for Windows
3. open the Minecraft launcher and pick your desired skin
4. click play on the 1.20.1 release installation of java (optifine modded version)Β
5. create a world and enter it
6. open options, go to the shaders option, pick internal, click done
7. save and quit and enter another worldΒ
Result:
your in-game skin is now Sunny even though you have another skin selected
