The Bug:
Sniffers attached to a lead will completely ignore the "explored position" mechanic where they're supposed to not dig in the same block twice for at least 20 blocks. Instead, they will continue digging and digging in the exact same block they're stationed on with the lead, over and over.

Summon a Sniffer, and lead it to a fence post on any block Sniffers can find seeds in
Wait for a while, until it has dug around 10 times
Note how most if not all its explored positions will be the exact same coord.
