Force loaded chunks reset when changing versions

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR

When forceloading chunks and switching versions (e.g. from 1.17 to 1.20.1), the forceloaded chunks will still be forceloaded.

WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW INSTEAD

When forceloading chunks and switching versions to 23w31a specifically (As of now), all forceloaded chunks will be reset. This could break some adventure maps.

Reset as in "no longer force loaded" or reset as in "chunk gets erased and generated again from scratch"?

I realized it's fixed now but that doesn't help people who are playing on earlier versions. Do we need to avoid recommending any versions from 1.17.x thru 1.20.1 when someone is asking about a mod that isn't updated to the latest version for example?

It was only a problem when upgrading to 23w31a until 22w35a; and it was just forceloading, not chunk contents.
