For some reason whenever I join a server it says something about it not being verified or authenticated with minecraft.net and I've tried logging out and back in but it doesn't fix my issue. I don't know what's going on or what to do.

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-207896, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.

Another thing to note is that my minecraft skin doesn't work in singleplayer worlds, it just keeps setting it to the same default skin.
