Class cast exception supression is patch in the version, but nothing related to that is in the change log. The supression was relaying on the unsanitezed input to given by the shimker to a comparator cause an exception. This can't be done without modifying data of the shulker and currently the only way to get a shulker to do that is using supression, who was patch in 1.19. Like it was with sticky piston retract blocks or rails and corals duping tnt, supression becomes feature, which used by technical minecraft comunity. There is no situation, whre this exception can be caused axidentaly.
