Block issue.

Hi there, i have a question. I was thinking about, how can a Minecraft block be one meter? That does not make sense. Because if i place it in real life, it will be like 20x20x20. I am 180cm, a minecraft player is also 180cm, right? Well since one block is actually not an meter, we are only 38 cm? That is not very realistic, so can you fix this please? Cheers, Daniel.
