When you stand on a bottom slab, if you have a bottom slab one block above the one you are standing on and one block in front, auto jump doesn't realise that you can jump and doesn't. To recreate, place a bottom slab on the ground. Then in front of it, place a top slab and a bottom slab on top. Turn on auto jump, stand on the lower bottom slab, walk forward into the bottom slab on top of the top slab and auto jump won't jump.

I think there's an argument to be made that the auto-jump should not jump in this case, since players with auto-jump off don't need to jump to get on top of the block. However, since everything else is bundled into MC-102043, I agree with the duplicate resolution.
Edit: oh wait, I didn't read the description properly, this is a separate case from I was thinking about, auto-jump should definitely work there. However, I am not able to reproduce this with the provided reproduction steps.
Hi, I believe this issue falls under MC-102043 and should be resolved as a duplicate of MC-102043.
