This might not be a bug, I'm honestly not sure. Basically, my audio sounds incorrect compared to what it should sound like. On versions lower than 1.20.2, my audio is completely fine, as it is with any other game or website that plays audio. So I know this is at least has to do with Minecraft. It only happens on 1.20.2, no other versions seem effected. This also effects vanilla sounds and music too, so it's not strictly our custom stuff. (Tested with Pigstep disc, same deal).
I have provided a small clip of me playing a custom song, it jumps between 1.20.1/1.20.2 to show how the audio sounds between versions. (Had to reduce video quality to upload so it sounds a little less appealing though, apologies for that).

Just watch the attached video, it shows what happens when I play any audio on 1.20.2. This effects custom and vanilla audio. The audio is not edited in any way, so I'm really not sure what's happening and why it's strictly 1.20.2.
Also worth noting, I had 4 other friends try the pack on 1.20.2 as well, they seem to not experience this, furthering my confusion.
I've been experiencing this bug too and I found some posts from around when 1.19 was released describing similar issues. The audio sounds like it's being played through a telephone.
Worth noting I found this after looking into it: MC-254403
So there is some information there, but sadly none of it helps me, as it seems I lack the file that supposedly caused the issue.
Can you send a screenshot of your settings screen?
