The bug

When a trial chamber generates in an aquifer (which it shouldn't), sometimes waterloggable blocks get waterlogged.

This seems like a duplicate of MC-250028 rather than a related issue. I don't think the fixing of [MC-266446] would have any bearing on whether the structure is considered to "intersect" the aquifer, and even if it does MC-250028 is still the core issue.

Edit as of 1.20.5-pre1: this occurs in all parts of a chunk, not just along the borders. Based on my limited testing the fixing of [MC-266446] seems to have made this issue less frequent, but water-filled noodle caves can still cause the issue.
