According to the changelog, this feature is intended to exclusively apply to non-player entities. However, it currently does not function as expected for non-player entities, an issue documented in MC-269940. However, MC-269961 is designated as the primary ticket, despite MC-269940 being created earlier, due to the influence of conspiracy theories.
