Splash water bottle can be used in the nether and can put out fire in the nether.

Throwing a splash water bottle in the nether works and can put out fires in the nether, this shouldn't be allowed as water cannot be placed in the nether, a bucket of water cannot be used in the nether and so should a throwable water bottle.

How to reproduce

Start by crafting a splash water bottle

Then teleport to the nether and try using it, its gonna work and can also be used to put out fires in the nether.

Observation Throwable water bottle can be used in the nether
Expectations The nether is a very hot place and water should easily dry up in the nether.

Please watch these 2 videos explaining the difference between a bucket of water and a splash water bottle in the nether.

Greymagic27 Yeah it technically does duplicate, but I think it also may relate, because MC-148302 describes how you can use splash water bottles to damage mobs in the nether, my report talks about why you shouldn't use water bottles in the nether since a bucket of water cannot be used. But It slightly duplicates it.

The parent report covers all water behaviors, not just damaging blazes.

EliteHog Yeah you're right I just thought it may relate to my report rather than being a duplicate since the report's intention isn't really about using water in the nether but it talks about damaging mobs in the nether using water bottle.
