When shot from dispensers, Wind Charges are dispensed an extra block infront of the dispenser.

 

Observed Behavior:
When shot from dispensers, Wind Charges are dispensed an extra block infront of the dispenser.

Expected Behavior:
Like other projectiles, the wind charge would be dispensed infront of the dispenser.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a dispenser.
2. Fill dispenser with Wind Charges and add a power source used to power the dispenser.
3. Power the dispenser.

Can confirm. It's useful to use the /tick freeze and /tick step 1t commands when reproducing this.

I am not sure the wind charge is actually dispensed in the block in front of the dispenser, I just think it's going so fast that it travels one block on the first tick. Also, in my tests the wind charge is not the only projectile to do this, only firework rockets and fireballs seem to be slow enough to appear in the block in front of the dispenser.

@unknown I was wondering about that too; testing this with fire charges also produced the same result for me.

Ignore the last bit; testing it again made the fire charge appear on the first block in front of the dispenser.

The hitbox in front of the dispenser is a fire charge.

Found an interesting little thing with wind charges being shot from dispensers. See attachment:
