When im playing the game, the screen flickers into black at random, i have no idea how to recreate this because sometimes it doesnt happen at all. The video is completely vanilla, no mods or mod loader.

Do you have another monitor to try and replicate this behavior on?
The flickering could occur for any number of reasons, such as your monitor, GPU, external software, game mods, or computer processing usage.
I'm having the same issue. Running the game in a windowed view eliminates the issue. Seemed to me that GSYNC/FreeSync was the issue, but after disabling GSYNC and restarting the game nothing changed. Something else is going on.
I've noticed this issue multiple times on other versions as well.
Edit: After further examination, the issue was resolved for me when using the official Minecraft Launcher instead of Prism Launcher.
Edit 2: Issue was resolved on Prism Launcher as well by using the Mojang recommended Java distribution and version. Eclipse Adoptium apparently has some issues.
