Black screen after AMD Adrenalin 24.6.1 driver update

AMD just released its long awaited Adrenalin 24.6.1 Driver Update which fixes the long infamous Fallout 3 / Fallout New Vegas Crash to Desktop on Launch issue... in response to a large campaign of Fallout fans demanding a fix after the recent success of the Fallout TV Series.

HOWEVER,

After installing Adrenalin 24.6.1

Minecraft Java now launches to a Black Screen.

I can hear the music from the main menu screen, I can move my mouse... but all I see is a solid Black Screen.

Can't rollback Driver, because that will screw over Fallout New Vegas again, and if Fallout New Vegas gets screwed again, Fallout Fans have vowed to launch their Mini Nuke's upon AMD, nVidia and Intel...

Then we won't have anymore Video Cards and CPU's... then PC development grinds to a halt, then there's no more Minecraft, ever...

We dont want that.

So does Minecraft Java need to be updated to work with the new Adrenalin Driver?  Or do we need to send our Creeper's and Enderman out to invade AMD?

Added two video captures of this.. one video shows this as I'm attempting to load Minecraft to the main menu screen... the other video shows this as I'm attempting to just load directly into my world, you can hear the sound effects of my Campfire next to me... but no video image on my screen other then a solid black screen.

This is an issue with the AMD driver, and will need to be resolved in the driver. 🙂
