Prior to Snapshot 24w33a, minecarts with furnaces could effectively push other minecarts. In the latest snapshot (24w33a) minecarts with furnaces no longer are able to effectively and efficiently push minecarts in front of them when the Minecart Improvements experiment is enabled.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a world with the Minecart Improvements experiment enabled
Place any minecart in front of a minecart with furnace
Power the furnace minecart
Observed result:
The minecart with furnace is unable to increase the speed of the minecart in front of it.
Expected result:
The minecart with furnace increases the speed of the minecart in front of it.

I would like to add that the speed at which the furnace minecart can push other minecarts doesn't scale with minecartMaxSpeed
This better if the furnace minecart was reverted back to is orignal stats witch included the ability to move on gold rail and the ability to bind with other minecart only when he go backward, this way whe create dececent railroad with it, i already made few structure with it including he station ,he loader/unloader, he turn , he railswitch manual and also he automatic railswitch and many more
Not of those machines are impossible in the exeriment but with different requirement than those less compact, in short will have the same effect if the don't decomition some redstonne change in previouse snapshote
This is speculative, but it may be that they intentionally did not update the behavior of the minecart with furnace to work in the new Minecart Improvements experiment. Jens Bergensten tweeted several years ago (2016) that they would probably try to phase out the minecart with furnace, which is probably why it was never added to Bedrock Edition. It's possible they intend to finally remove the minecart with furnace, and won't bother making it try to function properly with the new minecart behavior.
