Minecarts can launch you hundreds of thousands of blocks upwards if you derail inside cobwebs or powdered snow

Minecart Improvements need to be enabled.

If you ride a minecart up a dead end slope with a cobweb or powdered snow above it you'll be launched into the stratosphere. How high you get launched depends on the velocity of the cart but is seemingly random. I once managed to get launched over a thousand blocks into the air.

Steps to reproduce

• Build this setup:

• Ride a minecart towards the cobweb

Observed results

• After a second of being stuck in the cobweb you get launched upwards

Expected results

• This wouldn't happen

Fun Tip

• Break the cobweb right before you get launched to get absolutely yeeted
