When eating dyed wolf armour, the tinted overlay flashes rapidly ("z-fights") on the edges of the generated item model.
Steps to Reproduce:
Run this command to give yourself a consumable wolf armour item dyed black:
/give @s wolf_armor[consumable={},dyed_color=0]{\code}
Start eating it and look at the edge of the item that is now rotated towards the camera.
Observed Result:
There is z-fighting occurring between the black overlay and the base armour texture.
Expected Result:
There should be no z-fighting.
