While a Warden is sniffing, the 'action' where it tracks a mob takes way too long to do and when it does, it's animation is long since over. This also severely undermines the Warden's sniffing ability as it takes so long to sniff that, in an open area, a sneaking player is able to get away from it with ease.
Essentially, the Warden spends so long standing still that it surpasses the time of the sniffing animation and it negatively impacts the threat it poses.
Steps to Reproduce:
Summon a Warden.
Allow a mob to enter it's sniffing radius.
Expected Result: The Warden will track the most suspicious entity either the moment the animation ends or during it.
Actual Result: The Warden spends much more time standing still than it should.
2 videos have been attached, one showing currently how long a Warden takes to complete it's sniff, the other showcasing a Player sneaking away from it.

As for when this had begun to occur I am unsure, but I do know it has been happening atleast as early as Snapshot 22w15a (the one that added the sonic boom)
It could have started happening even earlier than that though, I cannot recall a time where I've seen a warden not have an overly long sniffing delay outside of the Minecraft Live 2021 showcase.
Apologies for the late response.
In what version did this start happening?
