Activating elytra while sprinting causes you to lose sprint

While sprinting, if you activate the Elytra, the sprint is lost, causing the screen to wobble and the player to slow down.

Here are the steps to repeat this Bug.

1. Equip an Elytra

2. Sprint run on the ground

3. Double tap space bar to activate Elytra.

Result: Elytra activation causes player to stop sprinting mid air.

Expected Result: Elytra activation should cause player to retain sprint.
