Players no longer make the fall damage "bone cracking" sound, and lack the subtitle

The bug:

Usually, when things take fall damage in minecraft, there's a special bone cracking/ground hitting sound that plays alongside their regular damage sound. This was true for the player as well, and got more intense the higher the fall.

In 1.21.4, players seem to lack this sound. I can't find any mobs that lack it, but the players only output their generic hurt sound and nothing layered on top. This sound was a part of good game design and communication and was iconic so I feel this might be rather important.

Steps to reproduce:

1. In version 1.21.4, go into survival mode at a large height, 8 or so blocks up. Turn subtitles on as well!

2. Jump off and hit the ground enough to take damage, but not enough to die (just for clarity, this sound is also supposed to play when dying)

3. Note how the only sound that plays is the generic hurt sound, and the "Something Fell" subtitle is also missing.
