indeed please note that this was fixed as previously stated, although they arent as good as climbing up blocks as bedrock is and do not tend to generate where it is steep

I think that's probably why yes, but then again z-fighting wouldn't occur if the nose was only 1 pixel thick instead of 2 pixels thick embedded into the cow's head.
