Minecraft entities head sides are also mirrored, however for the chicken it’s not the case. It’s noticeable with warm chicken:
On the left side of the texture, the orange line are not aligned, however on the right side, they are.

Can confirm- however there’s more to this bug than just the warm chicken’s stripes. It’s an entire texture mapping issue for baby chickens in general; all their sides aren’t lined up, its just most noticeable for the warm variant!
