With the changes, projectiles now collide with the world border and bounce off, including tridents, even when enchanted with Loyalty. This behavior is inconsistent with how tridents collide with mobs. When a Loyalty-enchanted trident collides with a mob, it does not bounce off and immediately returns. The fact that Loyalty tridents bounce off the world border first causes a delay before the trident returns to the player.

Be close to a world border
Stand close to the world border
Throw a trident with Loyalty at it
Expected result
Loyalty tridents would return when they collide with the world border, rather than bouncing off.
Observed result
Loyalty tridents bounce off the world border and return only after hitting the ground.
