Projectiles still stutter after hitting blocks over larger distances

Steps to reproduce (a video is attached):

1. Position yourself some distance away (horizontally) from a wall.

2. Shoot/throw projectiles at the wall.

3. ❌ After hitting, the projectiles will stutter/reorient themselves.
