In snapshot 25w20a, I'm experiencing a bug where arrows sometimes fall straight down or bounce off hostile mobs without dealing any damage. This happens with all hostile mobs, but it seems to occur more frequently with skeletons and when there are multiple creepers in the same area. It does not happen when mobs are freshly spawned — only after they’ve been around for a while.
This makes combat unreliable, especially when using ranged weapons. The arrows are visibly shot, but either drop instantly or hit the mob and do nothing. The game runs smoothly during these moments — no lag, no FPS drops — and it doesn’t matter whether I use enchanted or regular bows.

RAM: 8GB
No mods or datapacks installed
Render Distanced: 16 chunks
