When bedrock is loaded and the common cape is used in a world, the cape doesn’t appear on the Java Edition side and I’ve made sure its the same account for both.

Current ongoing issue, not only with this game but all capes going from bedrock → Java (Minecraft experience.. Common cape.. founders cape.. etc), also this bug report is a duplicate from: MCPE-219873, if you can consider up voting there 🙂
