Confirm. If you turn on the old textures on version 1.21.5, then the chicken egg does not have 2 pixels.

That ticket has already been resolved as Fixed. Please check the Fix Version/s field of that ticket to see in which version this behavior was or will be fixed.

Duplicate of MC-293619. The issue is already fixed in the latest snapshots (currently 1.21.6 Release Candidate 1), and the fix will be rolling out to the release versions soon. (1.21.6 is planned to be released on June 17th)
