I recently switched from an NVIDIA GPU to an AMD GPU and now I am unable to open minecraft from the minecraft launcher. When I press play the client closes and minecraft does not appear. When I check my processes in task manager, it shows that the game is running. Trying to reopen the launcher gives me an error that the game is already running. Only way to reopen the launcher is to end the minecraft launcher via task manager. I tried to open 1.21.6 release and 1.21.7 Release Candidate 2 with both having no luck.
Aside from trying to play vanilla minecraft, I downloaded fabric (Loader version 0.16.14) for versions 1.21.6 and 1.21.7 Release Candidate 2 and the game opened and I was able to play the game like normal.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB (25.6.1 Drivers)
RAM : 32GB
OS: Windows 10 19045.5965

This is not a duplicate, as the game is not crashing. I would say it is more likely that this is a duplicate of MC-296200.
Reporter, if you have MSI Afterburner or Rivatuner open, try to close these applications.
