Slimes disappear after switching accounts in the same world

When switching between accounts in the same Minecraft world (especially in local singleplayer or LAN-hosted sessions), previously spawned slimes may disappear or fail to persist. This happens even if the slimes were present and active before the account switch.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch Minecraft and log in with Account A.

  2. Enter a superflat or slime-spawning world and locate slimes.

  3. Exit the world and log out from Account A.

  4. Log in with Account B and open the same world.

  5. Slimes that were previously present are now gone, even if they should persist naturally.

Expected result:
Slimes that were present before account switch should still exist in the world.

Actual result:
Slimes are no longer present after switching to another account, even though other mobs may still be there.

Additional notes:

  • This issue was observed in 1.21.7 and next versions with both online and offline mode.

  • The bug does not appear to affect passive mobs or named mobs.
