Color of powered redstone wire does not match the new redstone color scheme used for torches

In 1.21.2, redstone torches and their derivatives were retextured and remodeled to use a new colour scheme with less yellows, appearing almost pinkish as a result. However, redstone wire’s own colour scheme was not updated to reflect these changes - it still appears noticeably more orange when at power level 15.

This can be even more noticeable in custom resource packs if redstone wire is assigned a new texture or model.

It is not easy to fix this by means of a resource pack as the coloring is hardcoded, and not editable in any model files or colormap textures.

Yes it is you can just slightly change the torch instead and most people will not notice

I disagree with this conclusion because the glow (and thus fully powered) part of the redstone torch has not changed; only the firey part which is not the redstone power itself. When the photo attached is in thumbnail form (zoomed out), the colours look quite similar overall.
