[MC-299565] i lost my important stuff and doubled useless wool and dyes

i had a bunch of useless blocks and things that i put into chest,then i got to my base where i took enchanted bow,arrows and other important things i need for raid.Then game just suddenly crashed and i got all of things i had before i put them in chest,but the chest also had them .When i tried to take my bow and important things for 2nd time they were deleted from world completely

Use an NBT editor such as this one to open playerdata/[your UUID].dat_old in your world’s save folder, and check the inventory tag. If your sword, bow, etc. are listed there, you can open the .dat file and replace its inventory contents with those from .dat_old. Note however that editing data files in this way is risky and you can seriously mess up your game by doing so. Most likely it will be easier to simply open to LAN with cheats enabled, go into creative mode, delete all the unwanted duplicate items and manually give yourself back everything you lost as best you can remember it.

As far as the bug itself is concerned, there isn’t really enough information in this report to deduce what might have caused it. If you can reproduce this bug (eg. by forcing a crash by holding down F3+C for 10 seconds after putting things into/taking them out of a chest) then please leave a comment with the exact reproduction steps. This report will be reopened when you reply.
