Hello, I’m not sure if this has been reported before, but I noticed this while attempting to /locate an End City in the latest snapshot (25w34b).
What Occurred:
While in the End, I entered through an end gateway on the central island. After teleporting to the outer islands, I ran the command “/locate minecraft:end_city” and waited. After a moment I noticed there was no command feedback and the chunks were not loading/rendering. I could not use items in my hand or inventory, but was able to place and destroy blocks. The game was not frozen, just a massive desync/lag spike. Closing and reopening fixed the issue, but it would occur again when I typed the same command.
I’m not sure if this is simply because there was no end city locatable nearby. Again, sorry if this issue has been reported before.

Does MC-250276 describe your issue?
I think that is normal, but i am not sure. Does the game continue normally when the end city is found after a few seconds?
