Steps to reproduce
Exit the game
Expected result
Game closes and returns you to the desktop
Actual result
Game displays main menu panorama and does not return to desktop.
Minecraft does appear to quit (it does not appear on the force quit menu). I can see the dock and the applications in it, but clicking the dock does nothing. The only way I have found to exit the panorama and get back to the desktop is to select Mission Control from the touch bar command strip.
I am not using any mods or resource packs.

Macbook Pro M1 running Sonoma 14.6.1
