Snow disappears next to a conduit

Snow next to a conduit doesn't matter if spawned with /setblock or layerd with debug stick. Doesn't disappear with layer 8

Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.

Not a bug. Conduits give off light, and light melts snow.
