Altering the texture of waxed copper golem statues and waxed copper chests will cause their orientation to display incorrectly on shelves.

Reproduce:

1.Download the resource pack from the attachment and apply it (the resource pack has already modified the textures for the waxed bronze puppet statue and waxed bronze chest).

2.Observe the orientation of waxed copper golem and waxed copper chests on shelves when resource packs are applied and when they are not applied.

3.When no resource pack is applied, the display is correct; when a resource pack is applied, an error occurs (manifesting as the facing direction being reversed).

Your resource pack completely overhauls the model of the items; it doesn't just change their texture. This is an issue with the models themselves, not a bug.
