Whenever you place a Pointed Dripstone or Bamboo down, it will be placed off center (Which it should be), but when you try to break a Pointed Dripstone or Bamboo, the breaking texture will not be off centered like it should be. We're actually already tracking this issue at MC-142156 , so I will resolve and link this ticket as a duplicate.
