It would sink like other undead mobs

Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.

It also didn’t float before 25w41a, and skeleton horses still don’t float. You also can’t ride it underwater, but you still can a skeleton horse.
