The video seems to be very buggy but still displays the problem properly
Here is a video displaying the bug, as well as its absence in regular horses (the reason for which seems to be their manes covering the spot.
About the two textures. Yeah, both held positions use the same texture though. As for first person being correct, that makes sense I guess
Nevermind, this seems to be Working as Intended as zombie horse saddles have their own texture
Leather Horse Armor also does not have overlays set up in Java Edition at all, which seems like an oversight
Here is a resource pack fixing all those issues
I apologize since this seems to be a duplicate of MC-303546. I've been having some difficulty with searching in the tracker lately
Undead mobs sink underwater. The skeleton horse is the only example of an undead mount working perfectly, as it always sinks and can be ridden underwater. This part of the camel husk behavior is as expected, what is unexpected is it floating when not ridden and the zombie horse's whole thing of floating unlike any other undead (besides aquatic ones).
I do not believe this is invalid since it is inconsistent behavior. It feels like an oversight that should at least be analyzed to be marked as “Working as Intended”. As I stated, Zombie and Skeleton variants both convert and Husks and Parched seem extremely equivalent and that they should both hydrate into their non-desert variants.
Really weird how every undead mount behaves differently in water, with zombie horses being marked as “Worked as Intended”. Personally, I believe they should all just sink (besides Zombie Nautiluses of course) since that brings more interesting gameplay with you being able to easily ride them underwater, but I wish we at least got a statement on the intended behavior. Same for Skeleton Horses not burning/wearing armor (which could easily be done by either making cells prevent burning or by making older skeleton horses retroactively get leather horse armor), these mounts are just all weirdly inconsistent.
I wish we at least got an statement on the intended behavior since all other undead mobs including skeleton horses do sink and that's actually an interesting reason to prefer undead mounts to living ones since riding them underwater is sometimes desirable (and, undoubtedly, “cool”)
Water lakes are not a feature anymore since 1.18 as they've been replaced by aquifers and larger rivers.
Rooted Dirt can be tilled. But that's only one point I presented for the argument for that moss isn't dirt. Other things would be that it is not convertible to dirt in any other way, or that moss blocks reproduce which would be weird if it transformed random blocks into dirt. I think it is better to let Mojang decide if moss is dirt or not.
I can't understand your point about trees.
This duplicate status is incorrect. One of the tickets refers to podzol and the other to moss. One may be intended while the other may not.

Oh yeah, my honest mistake, I think I was looking too hard and saw something that didn't exist
White dye was added in the village and pillage update, not world of color. And they could've forgotten.
this isn’t the case for any other undead mobs, it appears unintended
