When player dies, jukebox continues to appear to be playing music but there is no more sound

I was in my house in my minecraft realm with my jukebox on and my friend killed me with commands for fun, I had my spawn set at the bed right next to me, so the jukebox never should’ve stopped, however it had music notes coming from it but no sound. The sound still played for my friend. I can't remember which one of us are originally inserted the disk, however this is quite annoying if you want to listen to music during PvP or just messing around with kill commands.
