Since 1.21.9, Jukeboxes stop playing music upon player death, even when you respawn near the jukebox.
can confirm, a respawned player won’t hear a playing jukebox. same goes for a player joining a world where a jukebox is playing, or changing dimensions. So I suspect this is MC-263015and/or MC-253152
