Hoglin jockey pathfinding results in rider suffocation

The hoglin jockey (a baby piglin riding a baby hoglin) is a rare jockey (1 in 500) spawn event. This unique combination of mobs seems to have a pathfinding that results in unintended consequences. The jockey will try to enter a one block high space that both mobs could normally fit in. However in this case the baby piglin riding the baby hoglin suffocates in the block above. Given the rarity of this event it seems unintended that the ride or rider would pathfind to an environment that immediately leads to the death of the rider.

Environment

Enter the nether and have two command blocks one that summons a baby piglin with the command summon @e[minecraft:piglin] ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ minecraft:entity_born, the other will have a command that summons hoglins with summon @e[minecraft:hoglin] ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Minecraft:entity_born this will eventually result in a hoglin jockey pair. If given a one block high space the jockey will enter and suffocate the rider.
