Zombie Villager variant changes and do not match the biome they spawned in

In a swamp biome, naturally spawned baby Zombie Villager jockeys always appear using the plains biome variant when they first spawn.
When reloading the area, the exact same Zombie Villager appears using the Snowy biome variant instead. (using the entity data I figured out that they always were of snowy variant in the first place, it’s a visual bug).

The problem might be linked to the spawn chunks, since those in my world are in a snowy plains biome…

This happens consistently:

  1. Find a naturally spawned baby Zombie Villager jockey in a Swamp biome. (might happen in other biomes too)

  2. Observe that the mob uses the plains zombie-villager skin variant.

  3. Leave the area until the chunk unloads and return. (alternatively, curing the villager also works)

  4. The same mob now displays the snowy variant, even though the biome is still Swamp.

Expected behavior:
A Zombie Villager should keep a consistent biome-variant skin after spawning.

Actual behavior:
The variant switches from Plains β†’ Snowy after unloading/reloading the chunk.
